Alpha Delta Gamma - Beta Chapter

Saint Louis University

This past Spring semester was full of opportunities, challenges, and excitement for Beta Chapter.  Hosting the Spring Leadership Conference in February was a great opportunity for our chapter, and many brothers who had never been to a National ΑΔΓ event were able to experience one.  Many new connections were made, and we strengthened our own chapter by reviewing goals and priorities with members of the National board.  We also have rekindled our relationship with our alumni chapter as they prepare to host the 85th anniversary of Beta Chapter.

This past semester we experienced success in Greek events.  We placed first in the synchronized swimming portion of Delta Gamma’s “Anchorsplash” week (a yearly goal that we set for ourselves.)  We also took first place in Alpha Delta Pi’s “King of Diamonds” week.  This is notable due to our smaller size in relation to the fraternities we were up against.  Our successes were made possible by a renewed sense of urgency and excellence within our chapter.  We have strengthened ourselves internally by building brotherhood and respect between our members, and we look to use this new strength to pursue success in the future.

This coming Fall semester presents us with some challenges.  However, we are ready to meet them head-on.  We look to grow in this coming semester.  The chapter has set its sights on Fall rush.  We have revamped the way we think about recruitment, and I believe that we will experience success because of this new mindset and our determination.  Our chapter has much to offer and we would like to extend these opportunities to new members.  We believe that ΑΔΓ is the perfect blend of tradition, heritage, and excellence.

If you have any questions about our Chapter, recruitment, or any other information while browsing through the website feel free to email me at aschmi35@slu.edu.
